About the Event

One Day. Real Technical Challenges.

At Innodata, we work on some of the hardest problems at the frontier of AI—from evaluating advanced AI systems to building the data, benchmarks, and engineering workflows that make them better.

At the Innodata Hackathon, you’ll join a team of builders to design, build, test, and demo an evidence-backed solution to one of two technical challenges.

Come ready to build, break things, debug, and rethink what AI systems can do.

Prizes

Who Should Apply

We’re Looking for Curious, Hands-on Builders

People who enjoy tackling unfamiliar problems, testing what works, and figuring out why. This event is a fit for:

Software Engineers and Developers

AI/ML builders

Technical students and recent graduates with strong programming fundamentals

Builders interested in AI evaluation, synthetic data, multimodal AI, or coding systems

Specialized AI evaluation experience isn’t required. Strong implementation skills, curiosity, and careful reasoning matter most.

Two Challenge Tracks

Choose Your Challenge

People who enjoy tackling unfamiliar problems, testing what works, and figuring out why. This event is a fit for:

01

Coding Task Factory

How can we automatically create realistic software-development tasks that are clear, solvable, and reliably testable?

Build a reusable pipeline that generates feature-development tasks for evaluating AI coding systems, including requirements, reference implementations, and tests.

02

Visual Task Factory

Which visual capabilities matter most in real-world applications—and how can we reliably test whether frontier models have them?

Build a pipeline that generates synthetic images, questions, and verifiable answers, then use it to evaluate frontier multimodal models.
