Innodata CSR Quarterly Update

At Innodata, we believe in making a positive impact in the communities where we operate. Our corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives focus on empowering young people and creating opportunities for their growth and development.

2023 was off to a productive start in the Philippines. In a message to the Corporate Social Responsibility and Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) teams, Ms. Imay Villa, the country head, outlined Innodata’s CSR and OSH goals and strategy for the year. She described a holistic approach to employee wellbeing that focuses on mental health, physical fitness, and financial success, as well as a three-pronged CSR strategy for 2023 built on education support, crisis aid, and community resilience.

The 2023 CSR, OSH, and iTALK (Corporate Communication) planning session, held at the beginning of the year, brought the three teams together to ensure alignment with each other and with the company as a whole. They pledged to coordinate their efforts to promote the overall success of the company and the health of the community, to enhance their current and future initiatives through continuous improvement, to increase employee awareness and participation in these programs, and to improve their collaboration internally and externally.

The CSR team at Innodata Mandaue, along with volunteers from various other locations, conducted their first outreach activity for 2023 at Daanbantayan Central Elementary School (DCES) in Northern Cebu. Volunteers distributed 1,800 sets of books, donated by Internet Archive, along with snacks and school supplies, to the children of DCES. In addition, a CSR team from Global Technology performed assessments, repairs, and maintenance activities in the school’s computer labs. Innodata has pledged to continue its work with DCES by mentoring students, providing career counseling, supporting school sports programs, and sponsoring school trips and events.

Stay tuned for updates on our other scheduled CSR events in the Manila, Legazpi, and Mandaue areas!
